I like the squirrel (though I think there’s a bit too much
black on the right). The goldfinch looks a bit odd – his
bill sesms out of focus and his eye is lost in the dark area.
I think I’d have tried to hide the faults by showing him
from further out.Thanks for your suggestions Pete much appreciated
I found it hard to get the Goldfinch right, didn’t want to post the full size as it wasn’t what I was trying to do,
if you know what I mean,
still we live and learn maybe the next time
I tried cropping the squirrel some more and didn’t like the end result
