Multi-skilled assistant available in Cork.

Hello All,
I’m an experienced photographer that would fall into the “advanced amateur” category, based in Cork city. I’m currently seeking work and/or experience as an assistant or second shooter. I’m particularly interested in fashion, weddings and interiors, but would relish the chance to work with a professional regardless of the genre.
I have a full professional grade kit, have experience working in high pressure situations (used to work as a cameraman) and have good knowledge of off camera lighting and light modifiers. In the past I have worked in tv and theatre and have picked up logistical, organizational and technical skills which would serve me well as an assistant.
I do have some prior experience assisting on both weddings and fashion shoots, but not enough in my opinion. I would love to hear from anyone in the Cork city or county region who needs a hands-on, competent assistant. I am primarily interested in gaining experience and realize that payment is not something that can be expected given the ever decreasing budgets within the industry. However this would obviously be appreciated where budget allows.
