I have a looked in my dictionary and found the name for this mushroom as cossack but in the English dictionary doesn’t exist. It’s very good in soup, sauce or with eggs…. :sick
About the photo. I feel that needs more space on top but I cropped it because windows were behind with very bright light.
    C&C welcome.

It looks like a cep or Penny Bun (Boletus edulis). They are considered one of the best eating mushrooms and fetch high prices in years when the harvest is poor. However, as with many fungi, it’s hard to know unless you’re an expert. It could be Leccinum scabrum, which is nowhere near as tasty and grows quite big under birch trees – the skinny stalk suggests it’s quite likely.

As for the quality of the photo? I think it’s a nice shot!

It is Leccinum Piceinum. It’s my second favourite funghy after Boletus reticulatuse.
