Saw them play in Cork back in ’79 or ’80, thought they were sh*te then and IMO still think they are possibly the most over rated sh*te now, and I ain’t running for any hills :twisted: ………Mikka
Must agree with Mikka the only decent U2 track is When Love Comes To Town. For once they had someone could actually play guitar.
I rather like U2. Not the recent stuff as much.
What really gets my goat is the particular brand of country and western trotted out by pub dj’s. Or Hugo Duncan on radio ulster.
Some C&W is superb though. Guy Clark, Alison Krauss and Union Station, Steve Earle, Rodney Crowell. Fabulous stuff…

hmmmmm … plinky plonky whale song music you get in health spas, yoga classes, whe put on “hold” for a call centre in Deli and hotel elevators … makes me want to do bad, bad things !!
