I was entertained at a recent gig (Black Rebel Motorcycle Club) by this scene!
The music’s the same.
The musicians are also the same.
The instruments are the same.
The atmosphere is also the same.
Hell the drugs must too be the same! ;)
The fans are the same.. with a few new recruits along the way.
But now they get to show their mates what it was all about!  :lol:Still it was a great gig, pretty pleased with some of the shots.
irishshaguaParticipantGood shot of ur man. Love how he’s fading into the background/. Not mad about the camera phones in the shot but thats just personal opinion, some will probably love them.
Nice
BrianrandomwayMemberI had to read your caption to understand what those annoying lights were. I have the feeling that people often forget to lay back and enjoy situations like that. Everybody wants to make a photo, and in the end they won’t even remember on the show. Plus, I wonder what the photos on a camera phone in near darkness would look like.
Good capture, thanks for sharing!
stasberMemberThanks folks, I posted it for that reason, there seems to be an impulse in people these days to ‘capture’ it, and out come their mobile phones – in many cases I’m sure after a few pints ;) . Plus I found myself in the right place where the picture presented itself, framing well with the artist and the 3 symmetrically spaced mobile phones, from a compositional point of view.
I think that the mobile phones, annoying as they are, make the picture, given this context. Horses for courses though, that’s what it’s about.
There was almost no light, so this was a luck shot bumped up a bit in post processing.
Oh.. Brian… mobile phones was that? What mobile phones? I don’t see any
And talking of mobile phones, not too bad for a Sony Ericsson K800i, looks much better on the phone’s screen tho  (twas a night off for me, much as I wanted to cover that gig). See, we’re all guilty of it!! Hehe..
