My favourite artist beyond a shadow of a doubt is the one and only Ben Folds. Seen him 3 times, including travelling to Frankfurt last November to see him.

Other than that… there are so many. Some of my favourites are The Postal Service, M. Ward, The Wonderstuff, Air, Nightmares on Wax, Kraftwerk, Daft Punk, Simple Kid, Leftfield, Jeff Buckley, Bill Shatner (Yes, Captain Kirk… have you heard his last album that Ben Folds produced? Magnificent), Enigma, Royksopp, Muse, Stone Roses…. It goes on.

I like some classical as well as mentioned above. My favourite is Beethoven’s 9th…. couldn’t believe when Europe took it as their national anthem… write your own music for f*cks sake!

Right now I’m listening to Devotchka, How it Ends.

I only discovered these before Christmas but they are definately something different, versatile and not the mass produced tripe that you hear nowadays.

    Worth a listen.

I have just put on Rachmaninov’s Symphony No. 1 in D Minor, opus 13 played by the Concertgebouw Orchestra conducted by Vladimir Ashkenazy.

    Lights down, eyes closed.
