TompixBandonMemberHi Darius,
Welcome aboard!
This is a fine introduction – good photos.
My favourite is the first one. Great composition and balance to it. Very well exposed.PixelleMemberWelcome to PI, I like the first and third specially. If the buildings were lighter would it work? Mmm?
Pity about the mast just in front of the muzzle in the Wicklow shot. And the clouds are too dark. The pier has an unreal appearance, as if it were floating in air.
BallymanParticipantLovely photos. The composition is great in all of them also.
One thing though, I think they are all a little over processed. In the first one there is haloing around the trees, in the third one the boat has become pixellated due to the over saturation of orange and as mentioned above, the pier in the fourth doesn’t look realistic anymore.
None of this is meant to be insulting (some people can take C&C very badly :) ) as they are excellent shots, just a little over processed in my opinion.
MadeleineCalaidoWeberParticipantDeeboParticipantb318ispParticipantI like the classic simplicity of the first shot, but an overall great first post – I look forward to seeing more!
JMac-2006ParticipantGreat first post – keep them coming
No.1 Sallygap is great composition on a well photographed place – haloing on the trees does take away from it a little though
No.2 is my favourite – great colours and moodPixelleMemberIf the buildings were lighter would it work? Mmm?
Sorry, left out #2 in above comment.
AedanCParticipantNo 2 for me too, even though I’m from the Sally Gap area and thus highly biased…!!!

Metatron26ParticipantThank you all for the comments.
My another 3 pictures:

wesleylawMemberI like the first. It doesnt imply lonliness to me though. Looks like someone just whizzed past with the trees bending in line with the road. Very nice light on the horses. Good pics.
