My First Intro

Hi Folks,
Just a few words to introduce myself to the congregation, I?m a Yellowbelly (a Wexford man to the uninitiated), a fair description would be, an ?old fart? with delusions of photographic grandeur, far beyond his capabilities.Confession time, up to a couple of years ago, I would have spit at the mention of digital photography. Somewhere during the last few years there was ?a road to Damascus moment?, just like Saint Paul there was a conversion, now I?m addicted.
I?m very impressed with the site, very user friendly, congratulations. I detect a nice sense of humour in the site, some almost as daft as my own. I?d sum it up as; folks take their photography seriously, but not themselves.
I?ll try posting a few pics, in the next few days. Comments appreciated.

The “old fart” gave it away, I think. Nice to have a fellow Wexfordman on the site. I was feeling lonely. Fighting the corner was becoming too much.

We’re big into “conversions” around here…though usually it involves channel mixer or Lab…hehehe!!

I?ve been searching for an alternative description for someone of my vintage, they are all dismal, I think I?ll just have to stick with the original ?Old fart?.
