My list of lenses to purchase

I will be changing my gear to a Canon 7D shortly and have been researching lenses to purchase with the Camera.
I will be getting the 18-135mm kit lens with the camera. I will also be purchasing the 70-200mmL IS lens with a 2 x extender.
Other lenses which i have researched and want to purchase compared to the Canon range are – (1) Tokina 11-16mm super wide angle and (2) Tamron 90mm macro
While the Canon 10-22mm wide angle and Canon 100mm macro lens have good reviews these other 2 x lenses get good reviews compared to the canon range.
Therefore i was considering purchasing these lenses as they will be used less than the 18-135mm and the 70-200mm

Hi Michael,
I have both the Tokina 11-16 and the Canon 100 Macro and both are excellent lenses. The Tamron 90 and the Sigma 105 are equally good as from what i have seen from other peoples work and i think both retail for a little less than the Canon. Whichever you go for i doubt you will be disappointed.
The 11-16 is also a brilliant lens albeit takes a while to get used to as its ultra wide at 11!!! i know people who have the 10-22 and while it gives you a little more zoom range the Tokina is supposedly a little sharper(if this is true or not i cant say) either way whichever lens you go for like above you wont be unhappy , the selection of lenses you have picked out are all good. i know this prob wont help with your decision but at least you know that whichever combination you go for all of the above are good lens and good value for money.
