Taken on a very windy, Mothers Day, along the front shore in Newcastle, this is a big shiny ball that’s there,
bit of a laugh to look at yourself in it…
Sinead I love this, the 3 figures in the scene create a lovely line.
The flare and reflections really add to this. the figure to the left
has a kind of ghostly or holographic feel to it.
Kind of like your Mum is talking to that figure while there is someone
photographing them and you caught that in your camera . . . if ya know wha I mean?
Alan, I did have more of this scene, but I ruined the film when I was loading it onto the reel,
was too impatient, and kinda forced it on, this was pretty much the only frame I had to work with,
next time I go back there I’ll do some more…
The figure on the left is my mum, she was talking to herself, something about how lovely she looked! tee hee…
She bought me that little water pistol camera the same day, that must be where I get my silly streak from!
