my new 24-70 is no more.

Went out for a shoot today.Got set up just as the sun was setting(lovely colours),took a few exposures,then my new lense would not focus.I tried everything thought it was the body,until i tried my other lenses which were grand.Cant understand it atall.So i rang warehouse express(was not to confident)but they said”we will send you out a new one on monday”.There was me thinking it was F****D.
I wonder has it happened before as they semmed very happy to replace it straight away?.

Was that angry went straight home,and missed the best colours i have seen in about a month. :cry: :cry:
Well Sean, the good news is they’re going to replace it.. There will always (I hope) be plenty of sunsets… and rises

Ouch – hard luck sean – I have a 17-55 if you want to borrow it in the meantime?
BTW: Maybe seems like a dumb question but you sure you didn’t have the focus button switched from AF to MF?
Did WarehouseExpress ask you to return the faulty lens? I’d gladly recycle it for you!!!

that was the first thing i checked John,and no i have to give their driver back the other lense on monday.

Sorry to hear that Sean, and you only have it no more than a few weeks!? Lets hope it was the one bad lens in the batch and your next one will last you a bit longer.
Got my replacement lense today. At no extra charge.They said as it was under the month they would do it for free.
I checked……and it was 28 days. :lol: :lol: :wink: .Close or what.
