Hey guys a pic of my pet iguana jubjub what you think
Cute little bugger isnt he
Compositionally, this is stunning.
The light on the plant is stunning, and Jubub is in just the right place.
Only thing that spoils it for me is that his face looks over exposed.
Sure this could be easily reshot, or corrected with a little post processing, so don’t let it detract from what is, undoubtebly a stunning shot!

The head looks a bit overexposed to me as well, maybe diall down the flash a bit or move the lamp a little further away, this might also make the shadows a little softer as well. In the second image his face has a bit too much contrast for me, too bright on the right and dark in the shadow on the left. I dont know what colour Jubjub looks like in real life to comment properly but it looks like there’s a yellow or tungsten colour cast in the whole image (although this may help the plant colour a bit). Easily sorted if you’re shooting RAW.
I think the second image is my favourite compositionally and from Jubjubs pose, love the little guys chilled out, laid back grin and combined with his eyelid which looks about one third closed gives him a cool “stoned” look – Great. 8)
Overall nice with tons of further potential, I’m sure with a pet like that you could spent hours taking really great photo’s, well done.
hey noely hes about 18 months old only in the last few months hes getting tame up to that there was murder when I went to handle him. Having a bit of a dilema at the moment I had been feeding him dandelion leaves all along (real high in protien) but the recent bout of frost has killed off a lot of this and the fussy ****er is slow to eat anything else…..
He’s a handsome divil SH.. :D and fantastic shots.
How about Rocket leaves…same thing really…just get very expensive if he has a big appetite :wink:
