:D :D :D 8) 8) 8) :lol:Alan RossiterParticipantI think you might be in the wrong drop zone Shane. If you look at the bottom of the first page of this forum you’ll see 2900-ish registered members, the majority of who can handle a camera and take on a challenge. Maybe an invitation like this would be better suited to a “Babe” site as you described them?
Alan
Sgt_MajorMemberLMAO!
Thats like me going onto a mechanic forum and asking if anyone needs their sparkplugs changed!
LOL
ExpresbroParticipantAh lads..don’t be too hard on the chap. He’s being pro-active and trying to get out there and look for work in these recessionary time, even if he is a bit misguided in his choice of venue in this particular case. Maybe he is looking for work as an assistant photographer?
I get the impression, despite his name, that English might not be his native tongue.

Alan RossiterParticipantWho’s being hard? It’s a little bit of advice Robbie – seek work where there is work available. I’d admire anyone who comes along with aspirations to excel in their chosen field and we all had to start somewhere in our own career path…if not a little misguided ourselves. Hopefully he’ll get some placement somewhere. Maybe a better approach than “Gis a job” would help, like an example of previous work? That doesn’t need a website.
Alan.
Sgt_MajorMemberI didn’t mean to sound mean either, I just found it incredibly funny.
I wish the Op the best of luck in getting work, I’m in the same boat as himself…
5faytheParticipantHi Shane,
Welcome to Photography Ireland and I hope you get as much
enjoyment and help from it as I have.As a semi-pro with some experience in several photographic areas
you will have a portfolio of images and probably some specific
questions. You could post some of your images here for critique and
ask any specific questions you might have.
There is plenty of advice available here.I spend a lot of time reading back through previous topics on this site and
there is lots of interesting information already available.Of course there is no shortcut (And I not implying that you are looking for one)
to gaining the knowledge, experience and body of work which creates a demand
in the marketplace for any professional’s work.May I wish you the very best in you endeavours.
John.
