It depends on what way you are viewing your folders in OS X. If you are viewing them as icons (so not in a list view) hit Apple+J on your keyboard and check that ‘Show Icon Preview’ is checked… That could be it…! If ye have other question re OS X feel free to PM me so as to not throw the topic off subject…!

earthairfireParticipantcarlParticipantConstantine,
If you need any help getting to grips with DPP check out the following link:

constantineParticipantI’m running 10.4.3 at the mo.
I’m thinking seeing as the 30D is a realativly new beast, and I haven’t hooked upto software update in a while thats maybe where my problem is.
Look like a trip to an internet cafe with a decent bb connection for me.
constantineParticipantThe reason I like using the preview icon function is because I have an old g3 tower hooked up to my laptop which I use as a printer server for a pictography machine I picked up (for a good price). Also have a 140gig external HD plugged into the g3 as well, reason being that with one ethernet cable I get almost 200 gig of storage, and a printer server. Using DPP to pull images off a remote server is quite slow and thats why I like using the preview function.
As I said before, I just think I need to get a patch to cover the 30D raw file, which I will do today.

Looked at it, won’t get it because (a) its too expensive and (b) I’d need to have a g5 tower to run it
Regards to all

earthairfireParticipantstasberMemberThat sounds quite plausible, Ken, and maybe (hopefully) that’s the simple answer.
I have a copy of all the patches & security updates for 10.4.x, and can post them if you like. Though the internet cafe option would more likely be quicker and simpler all round.
