New bridge in Waterford

This is the new bridge in Waterford, nicknamed the Cat Flap locally. Taken from the North West of the bridge, this is a merging of 4 images with different exposures. It was quite tricky to prevent the inside of the A frame becoming overexposed.

    All comments gratefully received.

Nicely done, got the light at just the right time too. I wonder though
if this needs a very slight counterclockwise rotation?

    Hi Aedan,

    Fine structure and well captured.

Your processing is obviously good too as it looks
    quite natural to me.

I too think a little rotate might be in order.

    Well done.

    John.

    Hi guys,

You are absolutely right, it’s crooked. It was staring me in the face and I missed it. Thanks to you both.

This version has a -0.5 degree rotation.

It’s a shame about the untidy jetty/structure in the left foreground …

It’s a great scene well captured.

You are absolutely right and in fact in the version you are looking at the worst part of the jetty has already been removed with Photoshop. I may do a version with no jetty at all pending client interest.
