New lights first attempt

    Just bought 2 softboxes and tried them out.
    This is my first ever attempt with lights other then sunlight.
    So some pointers please

    hi, get ur model to stand further from the backdrop, then light the backdrop with one of ur lights and use the other to light the model, think that would be a good starting point

    yeah , agree with ras……the creases are showing up in your back drop… i might also add there seems to be slight camera shake . get a tripod or up the shutter speed …..ofcourse its easy for me to sit here and throw up ideas …ive never used a backdrop or lights! :-) just my observation though :-)

    hmmm…how do you position ur lights? i can see a tiny catchlight is this ur on-camera flash? my suggestion is to put one light on a shelf and use just one of them till you get more experience. You can throw any questions you have and I’d be happy to help.
