This is not an advertising pitch but a very genuine concern I have. I have been given the opportunity to open a small photography stuidio as an added line to the work we do, the boss has just order “Cream” lyno for the floor after me telling him that we needed white.
Now if the walls & roof are going to be a bright white and we have a cream/yellowy floor being lit up will this affect the overall picture output etc.
This is going down today if I cant give a good enough reason for it not too …..
Unless it is a stong coulour it is unlikely to affect the pictures – unless you have you subject on the floor. White would be a better option, but your background paper / vinyl / fabric will usually be under the subject anyway. Change if there’s still time is my advice, but don’t loose sleep over it…
Ps, If it’s your job to keep the floor clean – go for the Cream!
