jb7ParticipantHello Paddy,
welcome to the site,
you’re gonna have a great time here-
good pictures,
looks like you know your stuff-Though you can’t always rely on your subjects to be as good,
judging from the slightly second-hand nature of some of the machinery-Enjoy your stay here-

PeteMcDMemberWelcome to the site. Good to see some more sports photographers getting stuck in. I’m looking forward to learning – you clearly have quite a developed style!
Number 1. has a strong graphic quality that I like. It is clear and direct and timed perfectly. Its maybe not as sharp as a few of the others.
Composition on 4 doesn’t work for me as much. It loses the sense of movement that is present in the other images, because the car is travelling towards you.
5th one is stunning. Pick of the bunch for me. Colour is rich and the car is sharp. I love the perspective on the track in the foreground.
Look forward to seeing some more!

SheldonParticipantGreat Pictures. I love the first with the unusual angle of the tarmac and the unconventional shot of the rear of the car. Great picture.

SodaRobMemberWelcome to the site Paddy.
Love the pictures, great action shots.
Though it would appear to my eye that one leg of
your tripod may be ‘slightly’ shorter than the other two :lol:Looking forward to seeing some more of your work.
Rob.

 Very good, I do get that from time to time, there is a reason behind it tho aswell !
Thanks everybody, trying to capture the essence of drifting is something that is very hard to capture, I’ve tried many different approaches and techniques to really try and capture the movement whilst also trying to display the driver being on the limit, I’ll get there some day !
These probably represent those times when I got a little bit closer to that …
arginiteParticipantReally like that second shot, the whole angle that its shot at really works for it.
Great work.
