I’m not one who takes many portraits, just a few of suggestions.
The background is distracting, the line through the photos takes away from them.
In the second shot especially I think you are too close. For better facial proportions you should be further back and use a bit of a zoom.
What is most important is where you stand, but it is often described in terms of focal length, eg around 70mm to 100m for head and shoulders, I believe.
Your choice of focal length for the shots is very wide.
The lighting seems a bit harsh for the subject in the first one, a softer light would be better.
And the light from above causes a lot of shadowing too, which is not flattering, especially on her neck.
Good diffuse natural lighting would work better, eg near a window, in a room that will reflect back light to the shadow areas.
A cute model you have there, a few changes in your set up will get you great results.
