Hi all,
My name is Gary, Im from Sligo. Only started taking photos mid last year. Im the PRO for my local GAA club so decided to get an SLR camera to take photos of our games. I use a Canon 1000D with a Sigma 70-300mm lens, so basic equipment compared to most of ye :D Hope to get some good tips and advice here as I want to improve my sports photography :mrgreen:hi gary and welcome , you’ve come to the right place for advice! i started taking photos around the same time as you and i can tell you that joining here was prob the best thing i did. even looking through other peoples posts and seeing the feedback is a great way to learn. keep clicking:-) . whats your local team ? im in sligo too .
Hi Jodal, thanks for the reply. My local team is Calry/St Joseph’s. They are just outside the town in Hazelwood. I must look through my photos and upload a few. Do you take any sports photos or what kind of photography do you do ?
