    Hi everyone,

I have just joined this site and am very much an amateur when it comes to photography. Have ordered my first DSLR…Nikon D5200 with 18-52mm lens and also ordered a Nikon AF-S 55-200mm f/4-5.6 VR DX NIKKOR (3.6X) lens.

I and am really looking forward to getting it and finding my way around it.

I have been staying up late many nights googling all things to do with the camera. I am just wondering if there is anything else that I should get as a must have as a starter. Do I get a set of low-priced filters from amazon or ebay or do I wait and get more expensive ones?

    Any advice is greatly appreciated.

    Thank you in advance.

I would just concentrate on getting to know your camera & having fun with it.
Practice with the software in editing your shots & if there is a club in your area, join it.
Plenty of good tutorials on Youtube.

Welcome to the site and to the wonderful world of photography! Agree with the lads on
getting to know your camera before diving in and buying stuff you may never use! Post
lots of images and dont be afraid to ask lots of questions, there is plenty of help available
    for the asking here.
