Amazing photos.
Nice use of DoF, the background is beautifully blurred and good colours, the bird sharp, and the photos capture character as much as form, which I really like.aww the poor little thing, he looks really pi**ed off, great
set of photos though and good title :)Great candid snaps… the first being the best for me. The third really shows how scrawny these little guys are. You can’t help but for feel sorry for him.

The title and the photos are great, but I can’t help thinking that it was the birds last day… looks very sick to me. That second image is very Very good.
great work! the 3rd one looks like a fluffy, drenched raptor from jurassic park, just about to start running. can really see the relationship in images like this. the eyes, the legs, the shape of the head, the stance. plenty of attitude in these also. great shots.
I love the 2nd one, you get a great sense of the contrast of the feathers against the beak :)

Thanks lads, not as bad as she looks actually…….she’d just hopped out of me bird bath :lol: Sorry if I haven’t been posting any comments lately, I’m up to me eyes at the moment! I’m not being a snob :lol:
this is a really good set Noely… number 1 and 2 for me.
3rd it’s a good idea though..I go along with what’s been said above, lovely OOF background and sharp subject. 2nd is my favourite, hope this little fella ended up Ok in the end.
