Nia – Lensbaby

branocParticipant
OK, here’s another one of Nia. This was my first go with a Lensbaby so hadn’t quite got the hang of it yet.
I could probably crop a bit off the bottom. Interested to hear what other think.Cheers..
branocBroadford1ParticipantDeeboParticipantGood shot and nice pose with the full light from the window. Hard to see at this size where the sharp sweetspot is.

DeeThanks. I was kinda hoping it would have been her face, but those things a real fiddly and would say it’s a bit soft. It’s not perfect but I suppose it has a certain charm.

I really like this…looks very french for some reason!? :)
Glad you like it!
Not french though.. The model is from Bulgaria, now living in Switzerland and the shot was taken in a converted farmhouse in Tuscany. So a bit of a mix there!mtmccallionParticipantmiki gParticipantNice shot Branoc. I like the pose and how the natural lighting falls on the model. Well done

LoGillParticipantI love it …. but wonder why you would use a lensbaby – there are other ways to achieve the soft, blurred look here without the added randomness of the lensbaby ?
As i said – I love the feeling to it – the light in the top window is a little distracting and I don’t think her face is the sharpest – but the feeling and mood hold it for me !

Hi LoGill, thanks!
I’d never used the Lensbabay before so I thought I’d give it a go. If I were to do it again I’d probably use a tilt shift to get the desired effect, I kinda like the randomness. It’s just the bits I wanted sharp aren’t sharp enough.
Got to try it a least once to know how it works I suppose.branoc.
