I bought it a few weeks ago and fot the short time of use I find it realy good. I dont have the paitence to sit down with photoshop for hours and suffering fron RSI in both arms makes very difficult. The one click effects are very good, and so are the different film effect options.

Would I say it is worth the money? Yes as I got the apple apature only version whick is half the photohop price.

Check out the videos on their web site http://www.niksoftware.com

I have Silver Efex, Color Efex Pro and Define. I find them to be superb.

I have for PS; it works very well — and is easy to use — and I can understand it.
B/W conversions are excellent, as is noise reduction.

Can you get this nik software at a reduced price anywhere, I have tried their 15 day trial and love it, but the cost is out of my reach at the moment.

    Hi,
I use the full range of software form NIK, I use it on a mac so benefit form the cheaper version, as opposed to the photo shop version, it is one peice of software the I wouldnt be without!

Color Efex Pro is superb, its the main plugin I use. I tried Define – clever and works well, but I stuck with PS tools.

A bit off topic here, but does anyone know if you can display the Nik plugins in full screen? When I launch them from photoshop, they open at about two thirds of the screen. I have a small laptop monitor and I find it difficult, especially with silver efex pro to get a good idea of the conversion. Also, as far as I can see you can’t zoom in less than 100%. I suppose using them as smart filters might be the only option…

I just checked Color Efex and mine takes up about 90% of the screen 1024×768, but you can resize by dragging the dotted lower right hand corner. You can zoom to either 100 or 300%.

Thanks, can’t believe I didn’t spot that re-sizing handle
