Nikon 80-200mm f/2.8D [old push-pull version]

I’m selling my beloved 80-200mm f/2.8D Nikon lens. An oldie, but a beauty, and still holds good value today.
They’re going for anywhere between 550 – 750 on ebay, even the older non D version.
I got rid of my Sigma 70-200 HSM II lens for this, as it’s sharper across the range, especially wide open. It also produces better colour and contrast. Many reviewers of this lens state that it is optically on a par with the 70-200 2.8 Nikon, it’s just missing VR.
Reason for selling: I want to get a 105mm macro lens. It’s a tough sell for me, but can’t afford to have both.
