I ordered one. Hopefuly will be in my hand end of the week.can I borrow it? :D
do you mind if I ask where you ordered it from?
and…just out of curiosity, did you consider any other lens – ie. the 70-300 VR or 80-200?
I’ve been weighing up the options of all 3 lenses, and think the 70-200 is the clear winner but obviosly at a price.
RobertoMemberI ordered it from Technikdirect.com
This lens was always on my list on second position after the Nikon 17-55mm F2.8G.
I believe that the Nikon lenses are the best on the middle price market. I wanted something with lower F and not very expensive and also small range of zoom. These are why I choosed it and not 70-300VR and 80-200.Borrow it….?
It’s like a women…………. :wink:easParticipantRoberto wrote:

Are we talking about the same lens? You don’t think EUR1500 is expensive. jeeeepers!!
yep. It’s a doozie. I think I’ve decided to get the 28-70 2.8 before the 70-200. Hopefully have both by the end of 2007……
let us know when you get a chance to try out the 70-200, be interested in hearing how you like it.
RobertoMembereasParticipantif Grey Market doesnt bother you, it’s less than eur1400
nolongerParticipantAlso available at a real Nikon dealer: http://www.digitalwonderworld.de/product_info.php/products_id/190
RobertoMemberI did not know about that site.
The prices are very interesting…… The black lens is much cheaper than the grey one. In Technikdirect the price for the black is the same as for grey in digital wonder world. :x
