Nikon D200 out of stock

I tried to buy the D200 through some EU websites, all of them are out of stock. I contacted Newman Cameras in Limerick and the owner found out that the camera is out of stock in all Nikons offices in Europe.
This is very good ‘advertise’ for Nikon.

Hi Roberto,

Status for the D200 at technikdirekt is “ready for shipping in 1-2 days”. I have purchased from them a few times with no problems.

I have received e-mail from them just now. The camera is on stock but the 17-55 lens is out.

Is Nikon actually making anything these days,everything seems to be in short supply.

I ordered the body from TechnikDirect and the lens with some accessories from Microglobe.
I hope everything will be here by Friday.
