As above just wondering which would you guys think is the better camera. I’ve had a bridge camera for long enough now and want to take the next step up but without spending crazy money. These camera’s seem to be in the same sort of price range and are priced in my budget so I think I will go for one of these. I know they only come with an 18-55mm lense but I couldn’t afford to buy an extra lense or two for a while so the 18-55mm will have to do for now. How would that fair out for taking photo’s of cars,people,motor sport events or just general photo’s?
I’m not familiar with either of these cameras, but I’d recommend going into your local camera store & try handling each. How a camera feels in your hands can often be the deciding factor. The layout of the controls & ease of use is important & the camera must feel right for you. I generally prefer Canon cameras, but that isn’t saying that Canon produce better cameras. Snapsort give the advantage to the Nikon in this case. http://snapsort.com/compare” onclick=”window.open(this.href);return false;
Good luck with whichever you decide.
Thanks for the reply. I was talking to a friend who is a photographer and he recommended the Canon to me as he uses Canon. Although I was leaning towards the Nikon for the simple fact my brother has a Nikon D40 with some different lenses so I could use them without having to purchase any. So I’m slightly unsure which to go for still.
Best thing would be to go into a shop and try both (or if you have a friend with both) and see which feels better in your hand.
Both cameras will do a good job regardless. As your brother already have a Nikon then you have someone to borrow lenses from :D
