Just recieved a brand new Nikkor AF 50mm f/1.8 D from Amazon.com
This lens was for my Nikon d60 and I have just found out that I need a Nikkon AF-S for same.
It will work on most nikons bar the D60 and the D40 I think.
I would like to offer this lens to you at cost price. This will save me the hastle of returning it to Amazon.
It cost me £118 (gbs) including postage and I will sell it for €118 (euros)
Delivery around Dublin is free

At todays exchange rates 118 pounds works out at 128 euros. Still a bargan.

Checked the prices on amazon, boy have they rocketed! Could be a great investment.They have indeed rocketed. I bought one down in dublin last week. €140 i paid. I think joseph will remember the night i sold my other one for €70. lol

I thought there was a rule about not posting on a for sale thread unless you were genuinely interested in the item?
The seller sets the price..there is no merit in pointing out the 20 different websites where it can be bought cheaper.
If it’s not good value, it wont sell..unless it’s hard to find etc.
In this case obviously the OP was not looking for a massively inflated price considering todays shop prices.
I imagine it is very frustrating for a seller when this goes on.

Hi Milo. Glad to see you managed to sell your lens. As far as I’m aware there’s no such thing as a 50mm 1.8 AFS Nikon. There is a f/1.4 version available. Maybe take a look at what Sigma offers, they might have something that would suit.
