Nikon Speed light Purchase

I am thinking about purchasing a speed light.I want to know what what are the pros and cons o fNikon sb 600 700 800 900 I know the 900 is expensive but is it worth the extra euros over the others.Or is the sb 600 ok for a beginner,.I am only a amaturer photographer.Looking forward to yer advice and comments. Thanks John
dont know much about nikon speedlites as i am a canon user, but if you want to save yourself some money then i would go with Yongnuo YN-565EX Flash Speedlite you can get them off ebay for under €140, it can be used wireless , or fired by secondary flash. i have the 560 which is a manual flash no TTL, it is excellent flash, and can be fired by pop up flash or other flash units.waiting on my 565ex to arrive
