Hey folks,
Don’t know why I’m here [good start for an introduction to a load of strangers, don’t you think? :)] Well, yes I do – it’s cos I stumbled across this site from some random other place, read a load of posts, figured you were all nice people, have nothing else to do at 23:44 on a Friday evening in Dublin (this first post is going well isn’t it?!) and my girlfriend’s out, therefore not nagging me to get off the computer… so I can hit the “register” button and sign up! (if you’re reading this honey, I’m only kidding) :lol:
So, anyhoo… hi everyone! I’ve visited a couple of your websites, seen some of your flickr streams and frankly it’s made me a little hesitant to share my efforts with such a knowledgeable audience. That said, links are in my sig if you have a few moments. You can leave a comment or three on the blog, or just ping me back on here, whatever floats your boat!
Looking forward to hanging out here when I get the chance. Although really, I should be out taking pics of stuff, no? (except it’s late, dark and cold :-)

Just something I noticed when setting up my avatar – if I tried to upload from my machine, it told me it had to be a gif, jpg or png file. I tried uploading all three, none of them worked! So I added it from a URL and it worked fine. Just in case you wanted to look into it?
You’re right Dave, there is a problem with that option. Its driving me nuts trying to figure it out. Some bug somewhere.
