Excellent shots mate.
I wouldn’t have angled all of them though.
It takes away slightly from the angles these guys are actually hitting.Great technique though
mgstParticipantBrian_CParticipantSteven, you might wanna watch your horizons, I can see the horizon police making an appearance here.
They’re just so pin sharp. Brilliant! No distracting background signage etc…. If you don’t mind my asking what part of the circuit are these from. I’m heading for Metropole on Thursday nite. If ya see a shaven headed punter slung with a Sony A100, be sure to say hello.
I know the circuit is pretty flat but is there any jumps or yumps for “wheel in the air” shots that you know of??StevenHannaMemberThanks folks.
Brian – these were all taken from the coast road, just after Black Hill & just after the Juniper Hill chicane.
Wheelie pics…. The bikes normally wheelie on the exit from Black Hill. Between the corner & the caravan park, is it Carrick Dhu or Dhu Varren? Other than that, I think the only “wheel in the air” shots would be from spots where they’re getting the gas on and the front wheel lifts automatically. The exit of the start / finish line chicane is sometimes good for this, although it all depends on the rider LOLHave a nice night tonight.

AliParticipantStevenHannaMemberDarrenGParticipantExcellent shots, so sharp and great colours. I was looking at your website and see you have the 300mm f/4. Was this used for these shots?
RobMemberSuper sharp shots there Steven. I love that extreme angle
of numbers 3, 8 and 9. Nice work indeed.Rob.
bethParticipantStevenHannaMemberThanks everyone.
