ExpresbroParticipantstcstcMemberExpresbroParticipantMarkKeymasterIf you email Mike, he’ll send on all the details for the several days out there.
GoosebankerParticipantI contacted Ole Martin Dahle a few months ago about visiting Flatanger where he runs the eagle trips. Unfortunately it was way out of my price range – don’t expect much change from ?1500 to ?2000 for a 3 or 4 day trip. Maybe there’s a group discount on the trips Mike organises to bring this price down a bit.
MarkKeymasterPrice is ?1700 for the trip looks like 5 days in total with 3 full days there with sessions on photoshop etc…
Mike has alot of information available on the trip.If anyone wants, I can forward on directly to you.
Thanks
ValentiaMemberFeck. I spent my SSIA on a flippin car. Ah well! Better start saving for next year. That’s a trip I would love to do.
joe_elwayParticipantHi Mark,
I’ve mailed Mike but could you please forward on to me anyway. I’d be totally into this.beefParticipantSounds like a great trip! Anyone see the edition of wild trials based on white tailed eagles, I presume it’s something similar Mark? Heading out in small boats, baiting the eagles… ?1700 is out of my price range at the moment though, sher there’s always next year!
MarkKeymasterAidan: I’ll forward on tonight to you.
Beef: Yes its the place shown on the Wild Trials show. Out on boats, staying in a lodge overlooking the water etc… looks great.
Danny: Let him know now so that he’ll start planning for next year :).
joe_elwayParticipantTHanks Mark. No need. Got a mail from Mike a few minutes ago. This is deffo one for me. I was so jealous when they did the White-Tailed Eagle episode of Wild Trials. And a chance to learn something from pros too … Mmmm … nice.
ExpresbroParticipantNo African safari this year then Aiden?
To say I’m envious..would be the understatement of the century 8)
joe_elwayParticipantUnfortunately no, Robbie. :( The contract I’m supposed to be starting now is kinda cash rich but it’s a funny one. I’m still trying to figure out the fine details of it. If it goes to plan then I’ll be all smiles. Plus, the really interesting part of it will kick right in when it’s best to go to Kenya, August. You’ve still got some rain activity and hence clouds for interesting landscapes.
The new camera body will eat up some cash and I need to really start saving for a replacement car.
beefParticipantI was the same Aidan, it was the one I was most envious of during that series. Jammy git! :D
