Not another newbie

I just wanted to say hi to all. I made a small introduction yesterday on a different page and left a baby photo if anyone knows what i am talking about. If i recall rightly there was two handsom little twins with an Alex Balwin look a like father at Butlins there also.
Anyway my name is Tara. Model turning photographer. I have a Nikon d70 which i bought from an old friend at christmas.
I?ve have a wee hand at photography since i was young participating in school camera clubs etc but i guess after being around them in so many shoots ive picked up a thing or two- now its time to put things to the test.
I just hope i can prove as good as Ali as she has done some fantastic model work. I on the other hand have only got as far as shooting my ugly but cute pug pup and the horses that i work with.I love macro photography and wildlife but i still have to invest in a good powerful lense to complete the task. My next step is buying a ML-L3 to finish a project i am doing on self portraits so we will see how that goes.

I’m giving serious thought to doing the modeling bit…….LOL. Who knows, (from what I hear), we may well see Tara
participate in the nations cup at the RDS soon ………. dont know will she be jumping for Ireland or Spain ????????Hopefully you dont have the snow that is here in Galway over in Spain right now. Talk soon and take care.

Hello Tara and welcome to the forums, If I recall right I’ve seen a couple of your photos in Gerry’s Studio and they are fantastic, you are very talented as a model and I’m sure you will make it as a photographer too… looking forward to see more of your work.
