Technically not great but they appeal to me…Any critique hugely appreciated.
1) This chap is often sat in Newcastle city centre reading the Indo. I like the sign on the bench and the lad at the end meself:

I wouldn’t be an expert on what makes a good street photograph but I have a couple of thoughts.
The subject in #1 looks like a bit of a character and could makes for an interesting photographic subject.
The conversion looks good to me.
I’m a bit of a pain about keeping lines straight if at all possible and the sloping bench screams at me here.I love the colours in #2.
I would try a crop to just above the urn on the LHS and to the left of t he gate on the RHS.
The frame would be then filled with colour and the runners would be placed slightly more to the LHS of the frame.
Just a thought and not a criticism.Two nice pictures.

Like the first one, he looks like the sort of character that you could do close-up on without him even realising.
Had to look at the second one a few times and think the graffiti on the wall makes the image
