Not the kind of shot I do too often. But when I saw these Nuns approaching in the distance I knew I wanted to grab an abstract version of them. We were driving along and I’d been playing with low shutter speed shots through the open passenger window, so I though I’d shoot them this way. If I’d taken a regular shot the best I would have gotten was a fairly flat boring side on shot.

Again I was using the Nikkor 17-55mm 2.8 an was surprised at how much detail it still managed to grab from the scene even though we were driving past in the opposite direction using a very low shutter speeed and small aperture.

    Exif Details:

    Camera Nikon D300
    Exposure 0.125 sec (1/8)
    Aperture f/20.0
    Focal Length 22 mm
    ISO Speed 200
    Exposure Bias 0 EV
    Flash No Flash

Drive by shooting.  I like it. Especially like the curved effect of the grass.

Do you know that it is years since I have even seen a nun, maybe they are a
rare breed now, or they just dont wear the habit anymore?
