OCA BA Hons Degree

Hi guys,

Need a little info if possible

I am thinking of enrolling into the OCA (Open College of the Arts), to do Distance Learning towards a BA Hons Degree in Photography. I really do want to do a degree in this as I hope to get as job within a photography based environment at some point.

As I work fulltime and have a young family, I feel distance learning is my best option as I have finicail and family obligations to consider so couldn’t afford to leave fulltime employment.

As anyone here had any experince with this course or know anyone who has done it?

I think that there are a couple of folk doing it here for sure.
Its something I’ve looked at myself also. Very tempting, but like yourself work fulltime and young kids.

Friend of mine is doing it 3 years already. He likes it, uneasy he says it is, lots of projects must be done per “semester”, but than if you want you have a lifetime to finish it..
