Can’t believe I ran aground with just 50km to go. A move which lost me 3rd place and might see me lose 4th if the Indomitability claws in another 16km….. grrrr…..

I was also steering Sjees for a Dutch friend that I met on the high seas.
Sneaky little rascal came back from hols last night, took the tiller from
me and put 600 places between his boat and mine after I went to bed!
After I’d been scrupulously keeping his yot by my side for 3000 miles.The rest of the legs look a little short. Do you think they’ll leave us high
and dry when this is over? Or will they come up with an excuse to go around

Consistent scoring there.
I lost about 10,000 places last wednesday at the first marker.
I was in Dublin all day with no access to the www.Hard to gain back those places.
