It’s alright aoluain, I don’t know about Mick but for me it’s an
accusation that always gets me going. Numerous times on this
site people have suggested that I (and others) must be sad monks
with nothing better to do than sit at the computer and type crp all
day. I do sit at the computer most days. Sometimes it feels like
I’m typing crp as well.
However, I always resent the implication that I might not do anything
else. I have 3-4 hours a day more than the average Irish citizen
simply because I don’t watch TV. If I want to use that time for steering boats
or studying plants or birds or reading books or doing su doku or walking
or moaning or bonding with my waens or just for having a five knuckle
shuffle, I will.
This isn’t directed at you – it’s for anyone who has ever told me to ‘get a life’.
I’m just explaining my (possible) over-reaction :)
Where I was coming from was that I realise teh amount of
effort it takes [on my behalf anyway] to bring a boat home
in the VORG in 20,000 + place. I didnt mean anything else
by my earlier comment.
Again very well done on your consistently low placing. I dont
what people do in their own time TBH.
I find it hard to drag meself away from this keyboard and monitor
a lot of the time.
