Off camera flash. Yes or No?

    Is off camera flash photography over the top for weddings or does it create stunning images.

    Also would appreciate peoples opinions on the attached off camera flash photo.

    off camera flash is always good, but if you are buy yourself and can be difficult, having a assistant with you is ideal

    For me it is not woryh as most 99% situation natural light is far better. Other think is walking with all stands ,making fuss, like working fast and not vissable.

    if it on camera V. off camera flash i like the look of off better every time. not always practical though

    Off-camera flash is not over the top if it is used appropriately. Natural light rarely gives the perfect balance of modelling, contrast and separation so nearly all shots benefit from a bit of help (usually bounced flash). The shot that you’ve posted looks murky, like someone has dipped it in a cup of coffee. For toning, try and be more subtle, maybe use the picture as the mask so as only to apply the toning to the dark areas and leave the whites clear.
