‘official’ photographer’ got delayed…so i had a few minutes to shot these… I’ve never done the wedding thing yet, as I have a lack of technical knowledge, especially about flash photography… but here are a few that I’ve posted for a comment or two anyway… thanks. m. (resistor)
ps. all my editing and enhancing is still done on the cheap (i-photo!!)
PeteTheBlokeMemberThese are really nice. No. 2 has a slightly odd perspective and maybe needs rotating.
No.3 is a lovely shot of the bride. Shame Mister was distracted.
I bet they like these photos.resistorMemberwell, I don’t know if they really did like them… I posted them all on my mac web site and the only responce i got was: thanks, unusal angles!! But I had included some pure ‘wrong’ photos of the brides father, propably because I didnt care much for his attitude on the day!! But thanks for the positive comments. This site is turning out to be a good place to gain confidence!!… I never noticed the need to rotate that image, but, looking at it now, you’re right… cheers, m.
jb7ParticipantI hardly think iPhoto is ‘on the cheap’
particularly if you’re using the later version-Good pictures, don’t mind what they say-
And the ‘wrong’ photos are sometimes the more interesting ones-
its good to get away from the ritual and sugary schmaltz
and treat the occasion as an opportunity for reportage-
sometimes-j
RobMemberLove the second one Resistor. Very natural looking in spite of
the perspective, though a little more room on the right to include
the presents would help…And the ‘wrong’ photos are sometimes the more interesting ones-

sometimesNe’er a truer word…
Reportage is good; sometimes that’s where the best material comes from…Rob.
PeteTheBlokeMemberI’ve done a rough and ready edit on no.2
I can send it to you or post it up if you’re interested.Pete
resistorMemberyeah, post it please, we can all have a glance… i had cropped the boxes cos the edge of the car was creaping in and it was bothering me… m.
PeteTheBlokeMemberDragged the vertical perspective upwards and rotated slightly. I’m not saying it’s better,
but it’s a discussion point anyway.jb7ParticipantresistorMemberPeteTheBlokeMemberBlimey. If I’d known they were Vikings, I’d have left well alone.
I take it you’re not impressed with my shape changing JB?
jb7Participantem, not exactly-
He’s teetering, and she’s squashed-Perspective on people is very difficult to alter, I think-
j
resistorMembersorry Pete, I did about 10 minutes of work there!! But now, about thoses changes, I have to admit that, to my untrained eye, I can see very little difference! I see a bit more of a crop at the base and to the right but, I don’t actually know what ‘Dragged the vertical perspective upwards’ really means, sorry!!! The rotate makes sence alright… is that your car? m.
PeteTheBlokeMemberOK. I’m off to post a pic for you to have a pop at.
As for JB: I can’t wait for your next mammal’s fundament….jb7ParticipantPeteTheBloke wrote:

Avant-garde exploration Pete-
but I can see where the confusion might arise…j
