I was on holidays in spain reciently and took this shot of my sister in law on the beach. it was late evening so sun was low and gave some great light. I took loads of photos but this one is by far my favourite. I wouldn’t mind going on Holidays again for another week…….
    your C&C are always welcome.

I can see why you like it, the light is lovely, though I cant help feeling that the
left side of the frame is not really adding to the scene, I think it is because she
has her back to it, so it isnt really included in the whole composition, I would
crop it much tighter on the left and see how that looks.

    Ya agree with shutterbug,

The image of your SIL is excellent, and the lighting and colours are amazing, but – there is no connection between the lady adn the background. It kinda looks like you cut and paste her on to the background.

Still, makes me want to go Spain right now too.

I tried cropping out the LHS and it doesnt do anything for it, maybe take out LHS far enough to remove the rock???
I was trying to use the sun as a rim light, in hindsight I agree it does look a bit like i cut and pasted her there.
Thanks for your time to respond.
