OK, i know, the Zoo is cheating, but I rather liked it.

These are from Dublin Zoo, probably cheating, but I liked some of the results.
What do you think?
Love the penguin, looks like he is smiling for the camera, I dont
think the zoo is cheating at all, just easy wildlife which is great for
practising framing/lighting/exposure etc. Well done :)ps I LOVE the zoo :lol:
It’s not cheating, just a load of amazing animals in one easy to get to place !! Nice shots !!
Great images and I don’t think you’re cheating, so many photographers now travel overseas for shots that are of animals that are almost tame, look at the guys who go to Scotland to photograph red deer in the winter, these deer are almost hand fed at that time of year to keep them healthy, lets see those guys chase deer around Kilarney for the day LOL
Thanks for your comments, good to get the sense that the Zoo is considered ok. I could spend days in there with my gear, great fun.
There is something special about hunting for animals in the wild though, spent a week in Norway last year trying to shoot some moose, when I finally found one, my gear was too far away, and the moose smelled me and ran… :-(
The Zoo is much more forgiving.
