Ok tell me what’s wrong with this please…

This was a quick snap, new lens…

I’m gonna have another go because the brown bits on the grass are driving me crazy. I like the composition. Any other suggestions? Never thought I’d be taking such a girly pic but I love daisies…

Whats wrong with it Michella is, you forgot to bring a scissors!!!

Its what I have in my camera bag to trim away the unwanted pieces of grass etc before shooting.

Composition looks good, exposure is good, would like to see more of the center of the flower in my opinion.

Thanks for the feedback and the tip on the scissors. I hadn’t even thought about it that way. I was taking the pup for a walk to day ‘examining’ the grass for ‘healthy’ patches…blond moment….

I’ll try to get more of the centre too.

I always say to beginner’s in photography.

If you like the photo, thats all that matter’s.

If I don’t like it for some reason, thats only my opinion.

I like it Michelle nice and sharp, nicely composed, great depth of field – you could clone out the dead bits of grass in photoshop
alternatively thats a good tip from John on carrying small scissors for a spot of gardening in the future

Carrying scissors….I’m a little more brutal and just pull away the odd strands of grass :)
Shame my daisy pics of late weren’t as nice as this :)

Nice composition, maybe a higher angle to see more of the flower centre as John says.

Agree with most of the comments, except that I think the composition could be improved.
I think we need to see the flower closer, and at a different angle, OR move further away which
would presumably give you lots of daisies. As it is the pic is neither close up or anything else
    (just my opinion) :)

Ok consensus is higher angle of view. And maybe closer. Taken on board. Thanks all.

Hi Michelle, I agree with the other comments but i must add that it looks a little over exposed on the white of the flower and you have lost detail in the petals as a result. Love the signature, very similar to one i use
