Old Coastguard Building

Was a coastguards building in the 19th century. The families used to live in cottages at the front of the building.
Unfortunately no longer there. Building itself was burnt down during the War of Independance.

That could make a great night shot!

I think if there was a bit less sky, as it is a tad bland compared to the rest…

I’d take the horizon away from the centre.

Good shot though, greta subject for B&W

great atmosphere, i would love to see shots of this scene at various times of the day. I’d especially like to
see it with a really moody sky. I find myself going back to places (usually fields) to get the best shot possible.
You’re definitely onto something here , it’s a good shot but i definitely think you could get a cracking one out of this.

Thanks Ali. Ya I really need to get back there as it has potential. That was taken on a cold morning on Dec 30th. Got there in the pitch dark, was never there before.
Private (as in only locals seem to know about it) hidden little cove in West Cork. Met a guy living beside the cove who told me that the sky’s were amazing the previous day.
