Old Cottage-Young Kids

Me again. :?
I think this is quite a good portrait of the young man in the foreground.
The title suggests something more to me than I see in the photograph.
That it is an old cottage is not really apparent.The 2nd figure I think distracts from the portrait a little but judging from
the title you probably intended the image to be more than a portrait.Maybe if the foreground figure hadn’t had been as posed………

Its an absolout cracker of an enviromental portrait. But for me the black and white processing is awful in it. dosent compliment the photo.
Over all the lighting seems dull, but im sure that was probably the best light you had at the time these days. Maybe through it back into processing and focus on processing the dull feel from it for the black and white, increase the shadows maybe, add grain to it. dont contrast it tho.
