The subject definitely has potential but I’m not sure that you’ve made the most of it here.
I would have straightened the post up a bit and pehaps placed it a little more off centre. The leaves encroaching from the bottom right are a bit distracting as are the brownish out of focus leaves in the bottom left.
The background is also a little busy and I would prefered to have seen a shallower depth of focus or simpler background.
I would still be tempted to go back and reshoot because I think you have a good image here with a bit of extra work.Also, is that bird shit on the top? If it is, give it a wipe. You are allowed to interefere with nature sometimes !!

Quite like this one but would agree with Andy that you could possible have made more of it. Off centre would be better in my opinion, though I would disagree that the background is busy: I don’t think a shallower depth of field would improve this at all and quite like the growth in the foreground. Overall, nice image though. 8)
