Old Man in Venice

Taken about a year ago, an old man selling bird seed in Piazza San Marco, Venice

Agree with the others here… this would have been a really interesting shot if you’d caught him looking up..(maybe you have on another shot).
As it is, the man is the main subject, yet all we really see of him is his cheeks and a little nose, it looks as if he’s actually avoiding eye contact.
I like the pigeon landing on the container. Nice touch. I’m guessing that’s why you chose this particular shot in the first place.

Expresbro, you hit the nail on the head, it is more to do with the pidgeon that I like this shot but I also found it interesting seeing the old man focusing on his work rather than looking up, I may indeed have a shot of him looking up, I’ll have a rummage and see if I do! :)
