Old Notifications being Emailed – fixed I hope…

Hi all,

A good number of you I’m sure, myself included will have been getting email notifications for very old posts. Posts where you have been mentioned. Its been driving me nuts and I assume its been the same for you. Apologies.

I’m not sure why this would have been happening as it makes no sense. However, I think that it should be ok now.

I’ve essentially updated the underlying forum posts to remove the ampersand which would appear before a member name in a post. That I believe will spot the site finding these old posts and creating a notification.

Going forward you should only see new notifications.

If you want to switch off the notification emails, you can go into your profile / setttings / email and do so there.
