Old Photo Booth picture strip restoring help???

    Hi,

It was my parents anniversary recently. They have 4 photos taken from a photo booth when they first met. Similar size to passport photos. The pictures are nearly 30 years old and are in black and white. All of them are in good condition. I really like these photos of them together and they are great memories to my parents and us kids. They decided to get them framed recently in two small sized photo frames. They look nice but not great. But would like to get the best from these photos.

Like I said previously they are in good condition but I feel they could be made bigger and colors restored/enhanced and framed in a nice sleek black modern photo frame. The frame size would depend on the size these photos could be made bigger. Something in the link below for the 4 B&W photos only.

I would not like to try and do this work myself. Want it done professionally by someone who is really good at their work to really get the best out of these photos.

Any ideas of people in Leinster that can do this type of work or frame ideas would be greatly appreciated. Would be nice to buy Irish made frames to help Irish businesses out. I have never got this type of work done before so no ideas on budget but don’t want to remortgage my home!

    Cheers

Making the images bigger, you may lose some quality, I would suggest setting the four images nicely mounted into an ash frame. This will look really good, and could be done by any professional framer.

The photos are pretty small and I am aware I would loose some quality making them bigger. I guess I would need to get the photos done first and then go hunting for a frame.

Would have not of thought of an ash frame. Cheers Eddie ;)
